What is Amlou Laoz?

Laoz means almond. Almond amlou: smoother than CawCaw. The 500 g jar is the size to buy once you already like it — not a different recipe, a different volume.

Ingredients

• Roasted almonds
• Honey
• Cold-pressed argan oil

Allergen: tree nuts (almonds). No palm oil, no preservative, no added flavouring. This size is not orange-blossom honey (that is the 190 g jar). The honey is not certified organic.

How to eat it

Breakfast (bread, msemen, baghrir), a snack, or in baking instead of a sweetened almond paste.

Laoz or CawCaw?

Laoz = almonds. CawCaw = peanuts. Large peanut jar: Amlou CawCaw 500 g. Almond 190 g: Amlou Laoz 190 g.

Why 500 g instead of 190 g?

Lower price per kilo. The Amlou Laoz 190 g is still the jar to try first, especially if you want orange-blossom honey.

Storage

Keep dry and away from light. Close after use. Stir if the argan oil has risen.
